With over 30 years of hands-on experience in Lean methodologies, Sandro Casagrande has built a distinguished career driving operational excellence at Electrolux.

His Lean journey began in 1994, when early exposure to Total Quality Management set the foundation for his commitment to continuous improvement. During 12 years at the Solaro Dishwasher Plant, he held diverse roles in R&D and purchasing and was instrumental in the first pilot activities for the Electrolux Manufacturing System (EMS), even before its official 2005 launch.

After joining the first EMS Change Agent training, Sandro progressed through key roles as EMS Sponsor and Coordinator for Italy and Europe. This journey culminated in him becoming the first Italian to achieve EMS Master Gear Level certification at Electrolux.

Building on this expertise, he co-led EMS implementation in new acquisition plants in Egypt. Since 2017, Sandro has been leading the global EMS digitalisation. Today, as the Group Methodology & Documentation Leader, he coordinates EMS activities across all business areas.
