Solutions Engineer

Our Solutions Engineers are the go-to resources for all things technical at KaiNexus. They support both our current and future customers along with our internal teams. Our Solutions Engineers work directly with Sales, Product Management, Customer Experience, and with our customers to configure the KaiNexus platform to solve various needs.

Requirements

  • Proven working experience of 1-3 years, including technical writing, system administration, customer-facing interactions, and performing support for a technology or similar organization 
  • Adept at learning new software systems quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities with a strong focus on customer experience, timeliness, problem-solving, and technical knowledge
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to track numerous details
  • Ability to handle tough conversations with clients in a professional, solution-oriented manner
  • A deep understanding and passion for customer service and business growth
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Working experience with Microsoft Office, API, JSON, and ETL is a plus

About This Position

We are seeking a talented, highly motivated, and energetic professional to join our Solutions Engineering team at our Austin location.

Our Solutions Engineers are the go-to resources for all things technical at KaiNexus. They support both our current and future customers along with our internal teams. Our Solutions Engineers work directly with Sales, Product Management, Customer Experience, and with our customers to configure the KaiNexus platform to solve various needs.

This role is the perfect blend of both technical and communication abilities. Our Solutions Engineers have excellent time management and problem-solving skills, and they possess the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within and outside our organization. They are highly analytical, detail-oriented, and are able to make and articulate clear, informed recommendations.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for solving problems with technology. They should have experience and be comfortable with working in the administrative settings of complex enterprise SaaS software solutions, and have an ability to understand complex configurations and how those configurations will impact the end-user experience. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with our current and prospective customers to scope and present solutions, and they will be adept at listening to feedback for ways to improve solution buildouts.

The Solutions Engineering role is a full time, mid-level, permanent position in Austin, TX with opportunity for upward growth throughout the organization.


Job Description

Title:  Solutions Engineer
Location: Austin, Texas

KaiNexus is committed to the safety of its employees and the surrounding community. In light of the dangers of COVID-19, our team is currently fully remote. We intend to transition back into an office in central Austin when it is safe to do so.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Become a KaiNexus product expert and continually update your product knowledge to keep up with a fast-paced release schedule
  • Collaborate with the Customer Experience and Product team to provide insight into our customer’s technical requirements
  • Work closely with Sales, Product Management, Customer Experience, and our customers to gather requirements, configure, and present creative solutions to complex problems with KaiNexus
  • Work with HTML, Excel, JSON API, ETL, Single Sign-on, and Google Suite
  • Drive high-quality customer experiences by meeting or exceeding the monthly goals associated with the role
  • Test, evaluate, and make decisions about new technology solutions for the company
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and participate in KaiNexus’ Continuous Improvement and growth mindset culture
