Senior Web Application Developer

Dallas/Ft. Worth Area, Texas


Skills:

  • Proficient with HTML, CSS/Sass and JavaScript, preferably Ext JS and Sencha Touch
  • Proficient with Java and working in a J2EE environment
  • Proficient with Spring and Hibernate frameworks 
  • Experience with Apache Cordova and PhoneGap a plus
  • Experience with APIs a plus
  • SQL and MySQL experience
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • An eye for design and usability
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized
  • Very responsive, with a customer-centric approach and the ability to serve a wide range of needs within the organization and at all levels.

About This Position

We are seeking a talented, bright, and energetic person to join the team in our D/FW development office. This senior full stack developer position will have the opportunity to tackle meaningful complex challenges as we expand and improve our SaaS product. It will be helpful to have experience working with APIs and mobile apps. Since we are a small team, you’ll be asked to wear many hats. You must have a working knowledge of object oriented programming theory, service-oriented architecture, web application architecture, JavaScript, Java, and database experience. You will work closely with management and other team members to collaboratively solve problems and implement solutions. Our stack is Ubuntu, MySQL, Apache/Tomcat, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, with a HTML/JavaScript front-end using Ext JS/Sencha Touch. This is a senior level position, so if you have some solid JavaScript and Java experience and are looking to challenge yourself, then we’d like to talk with you. 

The ideal candidate will be passionate about solving problems, taking on new challenges, and learning new things.
