Account Based Marketing Manager


Required Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 3 years experience in an ABM marketing role (tech industry preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Hubspot or equivalent marketing automation platform
  • Experience creating and managing all components of ABM programs
  • Track record of developing and managing multiple marketing programs simultaneously
  • Familiarity with the technical sales cycle and how to employ marketing communication strategies to nurture leads, drive adoption, and accelerate growth 
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinker that can see beyond the daily work to help reach marketing and sales goals, create a stronger brand, and improve the customer experience
  • Proficient in graphic design
  • Detail-oriented and extremely well-organized
  • Very responsive, with a customer-centric approach
  • Self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

About This Position

We are looking for a smart, creative Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Manager who will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing programs that generate new prospects and advance existing opportunities for the sales team within specific, targeted accounts and contacts. This role has a great deal of autonomy and opportunity for advancement here at KaiNexus.

To be successful in this role, you have a team player mindset, have very strong attention to detail and data, understand the sales journey and Marketing's role in it, and demonstrate strong cross-functional collaboration, especially with sales counterparts.

Location: Austin, Texas

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement target account strategy to support account-based selling
  • Develop and implement lead generation and acceleration programs for specific, targeted accounts and contacts
  • Create annual and quarterly marketing plans and targets for targeted accounts and contacts that focus on new logos and accelerate existing opportunities
  • Interface with sales to determine sales enablement needs, and work with demand gen. marketing team to develop content
  • Design and execute 1:1, 1:few, and broad-based marketing initiatives to meet pipeline requirements of varied account segments
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive account profiles and target personas; oversee a database of contacts to align marketing and sales in defining the target audience required to achieve account goals
  • Work in collaboration with other Marketing staff supporting and contributing to the team’s marketing initiatives
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance data and translate that analysis into key insights and make strategic recommendations
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for ABM programs across multiple tactics, through analyzing and interpreting key metrics/reports, recommending corrective action and ensuring continuous improvement and effectiveness.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of of the industry’s best practices, strategies, and offerings within ABM
